How To Add Someone To A Canvas Course

What Access Is Needed?

THIS is the big question.
If the individual being added to the Canvas course requires access to grades, then ITS cannot handle this process.

Who Handles Adding People to a Course:

Need: Who Handles It:
Undergraduate Teaching Assistant
or other course support staff
(no access to grades)		 ATC - Teaching & Learning Support Group
Undergraduate Teaching Assistant
(access to grades)		 Process NOT handled by ITS
Student needs to sign confidentiality agreement.
Once verified, department can add student via CourseLeaf.

Department can add the Teaching Assistant via CourseLeaf.
Another Instructor/Faculty Member
(access to grades)		 Process NOT handled by ITS
