Panopto Video Assignments in Canvas

Instructors who want their students to be able to submit a video for a grade in Canvas can use Panopto.

These are a few important tips before beginning the process.

• Make sure to create an Assignment Folder at the beginning.
• Save the assignment when it is set up the way you prefer.
• Be sure to assign points for the Assignment.
• Don't forget to select Submission Type = Online and that the Online Entry Options is set to Text Entry.
• Remember to Publish the Assignment so students can view it.
