Panopto is a third party video hosting service available as a tool in Canvas, but hidden by default. It can be found in the left menu navigation of your Canvas course.
To make it visible:
- From within your course in Canvas, click Settings from the left menu.
- Then click Navigation.
- You will see a list of items that are either showing or hidden in the left menu.
Panopto Video will be in the lower list of hidden tools.
- To make it visible in the left hand menu, simply drag the Panopto Video tool up to the top list.
- You will then see the Panopto Video link in the left menu.
Clicking the Panopto Video link as an instructor will open the Panopto Content folder assigned to the course and allow the instructor to record content directly into that folder.
