Ally creates alternative formats of your course content based on the original. These formats are made available with the original content so students can find everything in one convenient location.
You don’t need to do anything. The alternative formats are created by Ally. You may disable alternative formats for any individual content item, but doing so reduces the degree of accessibility of your course materials and may create barriers for some students.
To see the available alternative formats, select the Alternative formats icon anywhere you see it. To disable students' ability to download an item in alternative formats, click on Alternative formats for that item, select the downward pointing triangle at the top of the pop-up window, and click Disable alternative formats for this file.
