Citrix Virtual Apps - Virtual Application Services

Faculty, students and staff have 24/7, on-demand access to a library of popular software from any computer, Android or iOS device anywhere in the world with an Internet connection by going to https://access.sluapps.org and entering their SLU Net ID & password.

Citrix Virtual Apps (formerly WinFrame, MetaFrame, Presentation Server and XenApp) is application virtualization software produced by Citrix Systems that allows Windows applications to be accessed via individual devices from a shared server or cloud system. Virtual Apps  is application virtualization software produced by Citrix Systems that allows Windows applications to be accessed via individual devices from a shared server or cloud system.  Citrix makes Windows compatible applications available to all non-Windows devices and is available on a 24x7 basis.  

Access to individual applications is controlled by SLU's Active Directory (AD) through the deployment and use of AD Security Groups.
