How to Copy and Move a Video in Panopto

Panopto allows you to copy a session and move a session to a new folder. This article will show Creators (instructors) how to copy and move sessions.

1. Choose the video that you wish to copy and click the settings gear.
2.  Click Manage and select Copy under Copy Session. The copied session will inherit the same permissions from the original folder. Note that it will still be in the same folder as the original video.
3. To move the video you just copied to another course folder, click the box in the upper left corner of the video thumbnail of the session you want to move.
4. Click Move at the top of the Panopto page.
5. You will see an area the says Move Sessions To...
6. If you click the downward arrow at the right of the text 'Choose a folder or start typing to search' to reveal a list of available destination folders
7. When the correct folder is selected, click Move to move the session.
