To Access the Canvas Support Desk you can:
- Click the Help button at the bottom left corner of the Canvas Dashboard Page.
- Call the IT Service Desk at 314-977-4000 and choose Option 3 to speak with Canvas support.
The Canvas Learning Management System includes very robust support.
- Canvas support is available 24/7/365 for questions from instructors
and students regarding online academic technologies services.
- You can Live Chat with a Canvas agent.
NOTE:
Canvas support cannot provide classroom technology support for computers, projectors, printers etc.
Support for those issues is available at 314-977-4000.

Specific Issues:
If a student calls about not being able to access their class in Canvas:
- Check to make sure they are enrolled/registered in a course
- If enrolled in a course and have lost access, then email facsupport@slu.edu.
- It could be that a faculty member has not yet published their course.
- Advise them to reach out to the instructor.
- It could be that they can't access Canvas because they haven't reset with Okta.
- Help them through the process
- It could be that their class is part of another college/school and escalate to the appropriate support person
If faculty contact you about Canvas training or about help with migrating courses from Blackboard to Canvas:

SLU's contract with Blackboard ends on May 20th, 2022, so migration requests must be made before that date.
