What You Will See
The first time you open each protected Microsoft app, you will see a message saying that your organization is protecting data in the app.
For example, you will see it once for Outlook, once for Teams, once for OneDrive, and for other protected Microsoft apps.
IOS Instructions
When the protection message appears:
- Tap OK.
- The app will restart.
- Reopen the app.
- Continue using the app normally.
No device re-enrollment is required.
No app reinstall is required.

Android Instructions
When the protection message appears:
- Tap Continue.
- Allow the app to finish applying the protection policy.
- Continue using the app normally.
No device re-enrollment is required.
No app reinstall is required.

What If the App Does Not Open Correctly?
Try the following steps:
- Fully close the app.
- Reopen the app.
- Confirm you are signed in with your
@health.slu.edu account.
- Restart your phone.
- Try opening the app again.
