InfoED SPIN (Sponsored Programs Information Network) is a web-based funding opportunity search platform that helps Saint Louis University researchers identify external and internal funding opportunities.

The platform provides access to funding announcements from federal agencies, foundations, corporations, and other sponsoring organizations. Researchers can search for opportunities based on discipline, sponsor type, funding amount, eligibility criteria, and award type. InfoED SPIN is accessible through a standard web browser and is integrated with SLU's authentication systems for secure access.

Primary Purpose:

InfoED SPIN supports research development and grant seeking activities by providing tools to:

1. Discover Funding Opportunities

• Search active funding opportunities from federal, state, foundation, corporate, and internal sponsors
• Identify research grants, training grants, fellowships, travel awards, and other funding mechanisms

2. Advanced Funding Searches

• Filter opportunities by discipline, sponsor type, funding amount, and eligibility requirements
• Conduct targeted searches to identify relevant funding sources

3. Personalized Funding Monitoring

• Create saved searches
• Configure funding alerts and notifications to receive updates on newly posted opportunities that match research interests

There are two primary ways to access InfoED SPIN:
