To use Claude in Microsoft 365 Copilot, sign in to the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.
Claude is available in multiple Copilot experiences:
- Standard chat
Access Claude from the chat interface by selecting New chat or opening an existing conversation, then use the model selector to choose the Claude models.
- Researcher
Claude is also available within the Researcher agent, where it appears as Claude.
When using Copilot within these applications, select the Copilot button and choose from the available Claude models.
You must have a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to use Claude in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app (desktop and web app only).
Claude is available for use during an active session. Once the session ends or the Copilot app is closed, the system automatically reverts to the default Generative AI Model for Microsoft 365.
