Question?

What can I do if the classroom sound is not working?

Answer

  1. Verify that a proper source is selected from the Crestron touch panel. To confirm, select a different source, then re-select the one you need to use.
  2. Touch the sound button on the touch panel and make sure the mute is not turned on.
  3. Check the volume controls on the touch panel. There are separate controls for the microphones and the system audio. Make sure neither are turned too low.
  4. If you can't hear audio from your computer, check volume levels via the Volume Control Icon in the taskbar or via the computer's Control Panel. Changing the volume on the computer should make an audible "ding" sound as you change it.
  5. If an AUXILIARY Source is selected, verify that all cables are connected properly and the device is NOT muted.

If these steps don't help, press the "4099 Support" button at the top of the panel or call Classroom Support at 314-977-4099.
