How do I request a non-Banner course in Canvas?

Answer

Canvas sites for formal SLU courses are created automatically through a feed from Banner. Instructors and students are associated with those courses automatically.

Any Canvas sites that are not for formal courses are considered "non-Banner" sites. We determine whether or not Canvas is an appropriate space for non-Banner activities on a case-by-case basis. Note that these courses are required to be academic in nature and not for committees or student organizations.
