NOTE: Please allow 4-5 hours from the time you complete registration or make changes to your courses in Banner before attempting to access Canvas.
Canvas is used to support traditional in-person courses as well as online courses and all SLU courses will have a Canvas course component. Note that not all instructors will use Canvas. If you don't see a course that you are expecting to use, you should contact your instructor to confirm they are using it. If they are using it and you still can't see your course, it has most likely not been published by the instructor.
SLU users can find the Canvas tile under Applications via mySLU at auth.slu.edu.
You can access Canvas from your mobile device with the free Canvas Student app. It is available on the Apple Store and Google Play sites.
Browser support: All major browsers work in Canvas, but Chrome and Firefox work the best.
Please be aware that The School of Medicine has their own instance of Canvas that is accessed via the Canvas (School of Medicine) tile.
