How To 

The Crestron AirMedia systems installed in certain classroom spaces enable presenters to display their computers and tablets via a wireless video connection. This explains how to connect a Mac in such a classroom.

Resolution

  1. Tap the Crestron panel in the room to wake up the media system.
  2. Select the AirMedia option for display source.
  3. Open a web browser on the presentation Mac and enter the IP address displayed on the top left of the AirMedia welcome screen. (This IP is different for each location.)
  4. Click the download icon for the Windows client and run it from the Internet.
  5. Double-click the downloaded DMG file to open it.
  6. Double-click the Crestron AirMedia app to run it.
  7. At the login screen enter the 4-digit code from the upper right corner of the AirMedia welcome screen and click the Connect button.
  8. Once connected, a control panel will appear on screen.
    Use the following instructions to control the display experience.
  • Click the Stop button to cease screen sharing
  • Click the Play button to resume screen sharing
  • Click the Pause button to freeze screen sharing
  • Click the X button to close the client and end the session
