Using AirMedia for Wireless Presentation

Overview:

AirMedia is a technology that enables our faculty to share their screens without having to connect video cables to the systems in classroom spaces. The university is currently prototyping this technology and will be making it available in the following spaces to evaluate whether it addresses our instructors’ needs:

  • School of Nursing 022
  • Lee Hall (Underground Lecture Hall)
  • Davis-Shaughnessy 260
  • Allied Health Professions 2031

AirMedia uses a piece of software to share the screen from your Windows or Mac desktop or mobile device while connected to SLU-Users.

Mobile devices can share their content using the Crestron AirMedia app which is available for iOS and Android™ devices. Both apps may be used for full screen sharing on devices running Android 5.0 Lollipop or iOS 8 and above. Download the latest version of these apps from the App Store® app or Google Play™ store.
