Issue:
Many SLU users are experiencing email challenges in Apple's Mail app on iPhones and iPads since the recent iOS update. To rectify this, follow the instructions below.
NOTE: This does not affect those who use the Microsoft Outlook app on their iOS devices.
Solution:
To Remove Account:
- On your iPhone or iPad go to Settings.
- Scroll down and select Mail.
- Select Accounts.
- Select the account that has your SLU email.
(This usually says EXCHANGE.)
- Select the option that says, Re-Enter Your Password.
- You will be prompted to log into the system:
- Enter your SLU Net ID and Password.
- Confirm your identity through your verification method in OKTA.
- At this point you should have resolved the issue.
However, if you see a pop-up that prompts you to approve these permissions, just select Accept.
