How To Install a New PaperCut Print Queue for a Windows PC

The following is instructions for installing a new PaperCut print queue for a PC using a Windows Operating System.

Resolution

1. Be sure that you are connected to the SLU network or that you are connected to GlobalProtect VPN.
2. Open File Explorer. You can identify File Explorer by the folder icon on the task bar.
3. Click on the address bar at the top and remove any text that appears.
4. Type \\fvwpcutp01 into the address bar and press Enter.
5. Scroll down near the bottom of the menu and double-click the PCClient folder.
6. Next, double-click the win folder.
7. Locate and double-click to run the client-local-install.exe executable. It may be located near the bottom of the list.
8. Agree to the Terms and Conditions and run through all steps of the installer. 
9. Once installed, a pop-up will appear that asks the user to log in using your SLU Username and password to confirm your identity. Input your SLU Username and Password in the proper fields.
10. Once the SLU identity has been verified and the user is properly signed in to the PaperCut Client, navigate back to the \\fvwpcutp01 printer list in File Explorer. 
11. Locate the desired Printer or Print Queue from the menu and double-click to install.
12. The Printer or Print Queue should be installed to your computer automatically. Please keep in mind that there can be a slight delay after clicking before the installer appears.
