How to use the Payment Suite to set up payment method and make tuition payments

Note:  The preferred browsers for BillPay are Firefox or Google Chrome.
If the BillPay site does not load, clear your cookies and cache in Firefox or Chrome and reload your page.
 

Payments in either cash or check can be made in person at the Cashier’s office. The bills statement needs to be included and the Banner id of the student on the memo line of the check. Checks can be mailed but must be postmarked before the bill is due or the student may be dropped from classes. E-check, bank draft, or credit card payments can be made through Payment suite. NO over the phone payments can be made only in check or cash form.

Setting up a Payment Method within Payment Suite:  (this is required in order to receive a refund)

  1. Open a web browser and go to auth.slu.edu.
  2. Log into the portal with your SLU Net ID and password.
  3. Select Applications to the left.
  4. Click the tile labeled Payment Suite.
  5. Once Payment Suite loads, from the action bar, hover over My Account and click Payment Suite from the menu.
  6. Click Add New Payment Method.
  7. From the drop down list, select Electronic Checking/Savings Account.
  8. Click Select.
  9. Select the account type from the drop down menu.
  10. Type the Routing number.
  11. Type the bank account information.
  12. Confirm the bank account information.
  13. Type the name on the account.
  14. Checkmark the checkbox if you would like to use the account to receive refunds.
  15. Name the payment method.
  16. Click Continue.
  17. Verify all information.
  18. Click Save.

To pay your bill, follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser and go to auth.slu.edu.
  2. Log into the portal with your SLU Net ID and password.
  3. Select Applications to the left.
  4. Click the tile labeled Payment Suite.
  5. From the statement screen select Pay.  
  6. Click Make a payment.
  7. Select either current account balance or pay by term.
  8. Enter the amount to pay.
  9. Select payment date, Click Continue.
  10. Select a payment method from the drop down menu, Click Continue.
    • Note:  If paying by Credit Card, you will be directed to PayPath to enter your Credit card information.
    • Note:  If paying by check or savings account, you will be directed to a page to enter your account information.
  11. Once the payment information is entered, click Submit Payment
