Deleting Your Microsoft 365 Copilot Activity History

Overview:

This guide walks through deleting your Microsoft 365 Copilot activity history using the Microsoft My Account portal. This will clear your Copilot activity history from apps like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.

Getting Started:

  1. Visit the My Account portal: Open your web browser and navigate to myaccount.microsoft.com.

  2. Sign in with your SLU email: When prompted, enter your SLU email address and select “Next”.

  1. Log in with Okta: You will be redirected to Okta. Log in with your SLUNetID and password.

Deleting Your Copilot History:

  1. Open the My Account menu: Once logged in, navigate to the left menu bar and select the dropdown for “My Account”.

  1. Go to Settings & Privacy: Under “My Account”, select “Settings & Privacy”.

  1. Open the Privacy tab: On the Settings & Privacy page, select the “Privacy” tab at the top.

  2. Delete your history: Expand the “Copilot activity history” dropdown and then select “Delete history”.

  1. Confirm the deletion: Select the “Microsoft 365 Copilot” box and then choose “Delete”.

Note: It might take some time before everything is fully deleted, but your history will be cleared the next time you open the app.
